Okay Family, here's a post for fun:
If you could take a trip to anywhere in the U.S., where would you like to visit and why?
Don't "comment" on this post, but rather EDIT this post and add you're response at the bottom. (Except Sam, feel free to edit my puntuation, too :-D) If you're not sure how to edit, well.... call me and I'll walk you through it - this will be a good learning experience :-)
Well let's see -- yes, I'd go to Utah :D The reason being so I could snowboard -- HA! No Way, so I could see my family (although, snowboarding is still at the top of my list). However, if I were going on a trip with my family coming along, I'd go somewhere- anywhere HOT!!! I'm SO tired of being COLD.

Ohhhhh...The beach sounds so nice! Any beach would do, although Hawaii sounds extra nice. Mexico sounds good also. Oh! And California. Or Florida. It sounds so nice to sit on a beach and have nothing to do but watch the kids play. Sigh. Someday...

Soooooooo, there are a few places I would love to go, and it would be the best if everyone came along! I'd love to take an adventurous trip to The Grande Canyon, Zions, etc. I'd also love a perfect-weather-trip to Hawaii - mmmmmm. I'd also love a family-fun trip to Disney World/Sea World - one that was perfectly planned by someone else, and that kept my children squeeling with delight! Oh, and did I mention volleyball at Bear Lake, or water skiing on Lake Powell? "Oh the places we'll go!..." ~Lexie
Seeing as how it's still winter, I'm inclined to pick a warm place as well. The beaches of Puerto Rico (U.S. protectorate) should be getting some nice waves about now. Otherwise, I'm inclined to choose places I could fly fish. I want to take some backcountry fly fishing trips into the Uintah Mountains, the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming, and, if I had the money, Alaska. I also feel it is shame that I haven't been to the Grand Canyon yet. What sort of geology enthusiast do I think I am? I'm with Lex on the Lake Powell gig too. The week I spent there was one of the dreamiest weeks of my life. I'd like a repeat. For now, though, the Big Lost River near Mackay, Idaho, will just fine. (I'll have my line in the water on Thursday... oh yeah.)

Well, I made it to San Diego and the Pacific Ocean, so my next choice is North Carolina--where I get to see family AND the Atlantic Ocean! The great news is that Dad, Devin, Chris and I will be there during the last week of May (23-30). Am I lucky or what?!!! In the future, I'd like to visit Church History sites from New York to Nauvoo, and Washington D.C. I also think a Disneyland/Disneyworld trip would be fun--but ONLY with my kids and grandkids. Actually, I think next on my list had better be the Grand Canyon--I cannot believe I've only seen it from an airplane (but it was cool). --Mumsie
